Why must Architects be licensed?

What Ottawa Architects Do?

When a client hires a contract the scope of the work varies on the type of project or the type of architect.  From residential to commercial construction there are just as many architects specializing in each type of project.  Our Ottawa clients are usually homeowners looking to build a custom home or major renovation but we do help commercial clients build and renovate commercial property too.

Architects lead teams of engineers, technologists and the client to help manage workers, shipments, materials, building codes, permits, inspections & construction.  Without an architect it would be very difficult for a homeowner or client to manage all the moving parts without experience.
